Just a short post about our first charter of 2008 on the Mirage yesterday; we had a BALL !! The weather was decent, a little windy at times, but warm and sunny. The Lady Anglers were out in full force and had a great time. We caught big beautiful red snappers, salmon groupers, awesome whitefish, chucklehead, pretty pink sheephead, and an assortment of various rockfish. Everybody came home with a full sack of fish. Jacqui and Ruta were vying for the jackpot with their beautiful red snappers but Jacqui eeked it out by a gill. On our way back in, Eriko gave us lessons on how to get the stones out of the fish heads to make jewelry out of them. I think the best part was "listening" to our Divine Miss M as she battled to get the stones out. And again we thank Ruta for taking one for the team as she got anointed by a seagull. Congratulations Ladies for a job well done yesterday. The GOLD COAST LADY ANGLERS are back and better than ever !!
