3/13/10 Mirage Charter

Unfortunately the weather conditions were not the best to kick off our 2010 GCLA fishing season, but it was great to be on the water again and we still had fun under the circumstances. The ride out was really rough, so we knew then it was going to be a tough day. The wind just never seemed to let up. No matter where we went, we could not get away from it so we called it a day and were back at the dock by around 1pm. Not much was caught, some sand dabs and a couple of chuckleheads, but that's why is called "fishing" and not "catching". In true Mirage style, they were gracious enough to give us each a $100 "wind" check for one of their open party trips. So let us band together and see if most of us can make the same trip and make up for lost time. Jacqui, however, was one of the lucky ones and brought this jackpot chucklehead on board.
