Mirage November 16th

Hi All! Well, I was a bit disappointed that I could not make the Stardust or the Liberty trips this weekend, so my Awesome BF, Mike managed to get us on a last minute, last trip of the Season, open party trip on the Mirage! I was so excited! Tucker told us we would be heading out to San Miguel, and our journey across the channel was as smooth as glass.... were awoke to a beautiful sunrise and the smells of Andrew cooking breakfast!!!
I started off the day with a couple of really nice whitefish. But wait, then I felt the pulling of something large!!! a very nice sheephead, which hung in there and turned out to be Jackpot, baby!!!!!!!!!!

By the time we were almost limited out on white fish, everyone needed a second sack to fill.




Then, someone's awesome whitefish catch turned into an awesome mako shark catch, as the beast tried to snatch an easy meal, hence becoming a meal itself!


All in all, it was an epic trip! And to top it off were were escorted home by these guys!
