Go Dodgers!
Dani and I went to the Dodger game today. I'd like to say we had a great time. I suppose if you ignore the fact that it was 210 degrees and being in the stadium was like being in a cauldron, or the family directly behind us (and I mean directly: stadium seating tends to make neighbors, close relatives by the end of the game) who had vocal cords that would put Pavarotti to shame, or perhaps the very large, Prada sunglass, pig fingered (as Dani pointed out), hat wearing women in between us and the home plate. If we could ignore all that, we certainly couldn't ignore the entire beer that "Pavarotti family" dumped on Dani. But if we could, it would have been a great time. Lets get real. The dodger dogs ($5.75) are still sitting in my stomach. The Parmasean/bleu fries were pretty good but definitely not in 210 degree weather. Really, the best parts of the day were, when Dani (drenched in beer) said lets go, and the water ( $5.25). So When I say "Go Dodgers". I really mean it . Go ( back to Brooklyn) Dodgers!

That's No Lady!

SeaJay Charter
What a great day on the SeaJay Charter this past Saturday !! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we all came home with limits of rockfish. Karen even got a quick casting lesson from Skipper John. To add to the mystique of the GOLD COAST LADY ANGLERS, we now have the "Chucklehead Chuckle", thanks to Ruta. So from now on, when you catch a chucklehead, you have to do the "Chucklehead Chuckle" before you bag it. It will put a smile on anyone's face. You can almost hear the "chuckle" from this picture.
Get ready ladies for our next charter, cause with all of us on board, it is going to be an experience of a lifetime. Lookout fellow anglers, here come the "GOLD COAST LADY ANGLERS" !!!

Ling Cod Opener on the Mirage
Hi Everyone,
I went out on the Mirage for Ling Cod opening day - with the guys!
We caught our limits on the Lingasaurus, then went after some rock fish. The ling cod hit hard and come up looking like some kind of monster. My rock fish kept comming up a great red color.
Yes, we were taken to the mysterious - Jurassic Park and sworn to secrecy.
To quote one of the Joe's on board " it was an epic day"
Wow - Joe and his crew are the BEST!
